Kwame Lewis

O’Neil Levy
Co-Founder
Kwame Lewis (CFA, CPA, FCCA) has nearly two decades of experience in financial services focused on investment management. Kwame is seen as a leader within the private equity industry and has built an extensive network of PE/VC industry relationships and is seen as a resource within the private equity community including speaking on panels on various topics regarding running the back-office function at a private equity firm, and was a member of two PE CFO advisory boards. Kwame was the Head of Product Innovation, Fund Services NA at TMF Group, a fund administrator and Chief Financial Officer of ACON Investments, a $7 billion AUM private equity firm with strategies in the US, Latin America and Europe. Prior to joining ACON, Kwame was a senior manager at PwC leading its Alternative Investments Practice in Washington D.C. Kwame has significant experience within the private equity industry and private equity fund-of-funds and endowments, including exposure to many accounting, operational and reporting issues involving investment securities. Kwame is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts, New York and Virginia. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants which is based in the United Kingdom. Kwame is a CFA® charter holder.

O’Neil Levy (CFA, FCCA) has a wealth of experience with private equity finance operations with responsibility for non-investment functions including deal financing, treasury management, investor activities and managing vendor relationships including auditors, tax providers, lawyers and bankers. O’Neil A Levy has significant experience in financial services with a focus on asset management. O’Neil has advised multiple alternative asset managers i.e., private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, funds of funds, credit funds, and regulated investment companies (domestic and foreign) on issues impacting the advisor’s corporate entities, fund structuring, regulatory and compliance matters and general operations of funds and underlying investee entities. O’Neil also has private equity finance operating experience with responsibility for non-investment functions including deal financing, treasury management, investor activities and managing vendor relationships including auditors, lawyers and bankers. He was a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Boston MA, and Stamford CT, offices where he had numerous leadership roles in the Alternative Investment Practice including co-authoring thought leadership/industry guidance around investment valuation, internal controls, financial reporting, accounting for complex investments and interpretation of numerous authoritative accounting standards. O’Neil is a member of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants which is based in the United Kingdom. O’Neil is a CFA® charter holder.

Mark Letscher

Mark Letscher is a seasoned finance executive with nearly 20 years of leadership experience across the alternative asset management industry, including private equity, hedge funds, and multi-strategy investment platforms. He brings deep expertise in fund and management company operations, systems integration, regulatory compliance, and investor relations—along with a proven record of driving financial strategy, operational scalability, and technology-enabled efficiency.
Before joining LewisLevy, Mark served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Martis Capital Management, a private equity firm focused on healthcare investments. Earlier in his career, he was Managing Director at EJF Capital, where he led the firm’s accounting and financial reporting functions and played a key role in fund structuring and operational buildouts. He also held senior finance roles at The Carlyle Group and Apollo Global Management, where he contributed to Apollo’s IPO readiness initiatives.
Mark began his career as an auditor at Doeren Mayhew in Michigan. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management from Albion College.
Tax Director
Laura Carrubba (CFA, CPA) is a seasoned tax leader with over 30 years of experience advising clients across a wide range of industries and business structures. She brings deep expertise in federal and state income tax compliance, fund structuring, and investor tax considerations particularly within the private equity, venture capital, and real estate sectors.
During her tenure at PwC, Laura served as a trusted advisor to both U.S. and foreign-headquartered corporations, leading client service teams and delivering tax strategies that supported IPOs, M&A activity, and complex partnership structures. Her leadership spanned engagements in industrial manufacturing, technology, biotech, and asset management, including work with REITs and S corporations.
Following her retirement from PwC in 2022, Laura joined the Costello College of Business at George Mason University as an adjunct faculty member, teaching accounting and taxation. She holds a Master of Science in Taxation from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bryant University, and is a licensed CPA in Connecticut and Virginia.

Adrian Mizzi

Adrian Mizzi (CFA, ACA) began his career at PwC and has built a distinguished track record in financial services and asset management. He has led finance functions within the asset management industry, developing robust financial processes and internal controls that have passed various audits by Big 4 firms.
Notably, Adrian established the finance function for a multijurisdictional asset manager with over €3bn in assets under management, specializing in non-performing loans. He also played a pivotal role in the London Stock Exchange listing of an asset manager focused on private equity and private credit. His experience of setting up and managing finance functions has given him valuable insight into the issues faced by investment managers when managing external parties.
Adrian’s expertise enables him to drive operational efficiencies and deliver exceptional value to LewisLevy’s clients. He is a CFA Charterholder and an ACA chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Senior Manager
Matthew George is a senior finance leader with over 15 years of experience in strategic financial management, FP&A, investment analysis, and fund advisory. He has managed portfolios ranging from $75 million to $120 million USD, driving significant profitability growth. His expertise spans fund modeling, management company modeling, LBO analysis, M&A valuation, financial modeling, FP&A, and capital optimization, advising C-suite executives and investment teams across private equity, venture capital, and corporate finance environments.
His recent advisory work includes valuations, forecasts, and impairment strategies that safeguarded over $15 million USD in goodwill. He was also contracted as CFO for a logistics startup, where his leadership supported securing $10 million USD in funding. He has held senior finance and strategy roles at ANSA McAL, Massy Limited, and First Citizens Group, leading investment decisions, bond structuring, and risk management programs across the Caribbean and Florida.
Matthew holds an M.S. in Applied Analytics from Columbia University, an MBA in Finance from the University of Arizona, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Florida, cum laude.

Natalie Smith

Natalie Smith is a seasoned compliance and operations executive with over two decades of experience in investment management, private equity, and regulatory oversight. Most recently, she served as Director of Compliance & Operations at Quad-C Management, a middle-market private equity firm, where she oversaw the firm’s compliance program, was responsible for regulatory reporting for U.S. and Cayman-domiciled entities, and managed operational functions, including administration of the General Partner entities, investor support and due diligence inquiries, IT and cybersecurity matters, fund performance reporting, portfolio company valuations and data metrics, as well as fund audit and tax support.
Prior to Quad-C, Natalie was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Mangham Associates, a full-service investment office for endowments, foundations and high net worth families, where she was responsible for investment operations, regulatory compliance, manager due diligence, client service, client and internal reporting, administration of internal pooled vehicles, human resources, accounting and technology. She began her career at The Investment Fund for Foundations (TIFF), advancing to lead private investment operations for multiple private equity, real estate and resources fund-of-funds vehicles.
Natalie holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, an MBA from James Madison University, and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington.
Senior Manager
Ryland Randall is an accomplished, customer focused accounting and operations professional with 15 years of industry experience. This experience includes working on hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity and real estate funds. As a manager and supervisor working for various fund service providers, he is trained to be a key contact for multiple client relationships in a fast-paced environment. A core responsibility is working with auditors during the annual audit to ensure timely clearance.
Ryland is comfortable researching complex accounting issues and leading a team in the preparation of financial statements (US GAAP, IFRS, FRS 102). He also has experience preparing and reviewing capital calls and distributions including carried interest calculations, equalization, and series accounting. Prior to LewisLevy, Ryland worked at TMF Group Fund Services (Jersey) Limited as an Accounting Manager. Prior to that he worked at IFS, Citco and a boutique asset management firm in Canada in a number of fund accounting roles.
Ryland has a Certificate in Accounting from Athabasca University and a Certificate from the Canadian Securities Course.

Nicholas Williams

Nicholas Williams is an accomplished financial services professional with a demonstrated history of working in the accounting industry for the past 13 years. This experience includes strong professional skills in auditing (internal & external), accounting, financial analysis, and accounting systems implementation and testing. Nick has worked on many accounting projects across diverse industries focused on complex accounting issues and process improvements, which drove efficiencies, and was instrumental in identifying and resolving many issues in a timeline that exceeded the client’s expectations.
Before LewisLevy, Nick worked at TMF Group as a manager in the CFO Services practice. Prior to this, he worked at The Siegfried Group on a wide range of accounting projects with public and private multinational corporations and government entities. Prior to that, he worked at PwC in external audit in the Washington DC office.
Nick holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Business from the State University of New York and an MBA in Business and Administration and Project Management from Morgan State University.

Lukasz Borzecki (ACCA) specializes in the administration of closed-ended private equity, private debt, and real estate funds. His expertise includes fund accounting, financial statement preparation (IFRS, US GAAP), capital calls, distributions, carried interest calculations, and investor allocations. Lukasz has held roles at Brown Brothers Harriman, TMF Group, and BNP Paribas, where he managed financial reporting cycles, collaborated with audit teams, and ensured regulatory compliance. His focus is on enhancing operational efficiency and maintaining high standards in financial reporting.
Lukasz holds both a master’s degree and a postgraduate diploma in finance and accounting. He is also a qualified member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Adonai Jordan Rice

Adonai Jordan Rice is a Tax Consultant at LewisLevy Consulting, supporting clients across fund accounting, tax compliance, and operational finance.
Before joining LewisLevy, Adonai worked at PwC, where she supported corporate and partnership clients with federal and state tax filings and compliance, including Forms 1065, 1120, extensions, and K-1s. She also gained hands-on experience using industry-standard tax software and tools such as GoSystems and PwC TRACK.
Earlier in her career, Adonai held accounting and finance roles with the City of Tuscaloosa and a consulting firm, where she strengthened her skills in accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, payroll tax, and budgeting.
A graduate of Northeastern University with a degree in Business Accounting, Adonai brings a strong foundation in both technical and analytical disciplines to her role at LewisLevy.
Associate
Jeff Shen is an Associate in LewisLevy’s CFO Services practice, where he supports clients across fund accounting, financial reporting, and operational consulting. He brings a strong technical foundation in both public accounting and corporate finance, with hands-on experience across tax compliance, fund operations, and financial systems implementation.
Before joining LewisLevy, Jeff worked at PwC in New York as an Experienced Tax Associate, where he prepared and reviewed partnership and corporate tax returns for private equity and hedge fund clients. He also advised on audit procedures, tax provisioning, and regulatory compliance for complex fund structures.
Jeff went on to hold roles at Verizon and The Villages Health, focusing on state and local tax compliance, process automation, and efficiency improvements. His ability to blend technical accounting expertise with technology-driven solutions enhances LewisLevy’s capabilities in supporting clients through operational transformation and growth.
Jeff is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Rutgers Business School.
